Job description
Isos Federal is looking for an experienced Business Development & Account Manager (BDAM) to drive growth in U.S. federal contracting, with a preferred focus on AFCYBER and USCYBERCOM programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal business development and account management, particularly in the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian agencies.

This position can be from anywhere in the US, from our Tempe, AZ location to Washington D.C. or anywhere in between.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets in U.S. federal contracting, with a focus on cyber, defense, and IT modernization programs.
Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities, leading the full lifecycle from initial contact to contract award.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior government officials, contracting officers, and industry partners.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align solutions with customer needs and contract requirements.
Monitor industry trends, competitive intelligence, and federal acquisition opportunities through platforms such as SAM.gov, GovWin, and FPDS.
Actively participate in proposal strategy, teaming, and capture planning to maximize win probability.
Job requirements
Requirements:
7+ years of experience preferred; highly qualified candidates with 5+ years of experience and a proven track record will be considered.
Current or Active U.S. Secret clearance required; higher clearance levels (TS/SCI) are preferred.
Proven ability to win federal contracts, with demonstrated success in pipeline development and capture strategies.
Experience working with DoD, intelligence, or federal civilian agencies, with preference for candidates with AFCYBER and USCYBERCOM experience.
Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles (e.g., GWACs, IDIQs, OTAs), and government procurement cycles.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government clients, prime contractors, and strategic partners.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and data-driven approach to decision-making.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain a sense of humor in a high-pressure environment.
This is a remote role with an anticipated travel requirement of 20-30%, subject to business priorities, customer engagements, and industry events.
This position is primarily a work from home position and we consider applicants throughout the United States. We support pay transparency and the On-Target Earnings (OTE - which includes base salary, bonus, and other incentives) range for this position is between $195,000 - $225,000 combined plus a suite of employee benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with an employer contribution. Actual compensation can vary based on qualifications, experience, additional incentive opportunities, and geographic pay differentials. The mix of base salary and incentive compensation that makes up the final OTE that will be discussed during the offer process, with high performers having the potential to exceed OTE through successful contract wins.
