Isos Federal seeks a dynamic and personable Atlassian Consultant with a current secret clearance or higher. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and be a proactive team player skilled in fostering internal and external relationships. Responsibilities include hands-on support and guidance to federal clients using Atlassian tools, aiming to enhance productivity and success. Primary Responsibilities:
An Atlassian Consultant serves as the primary client-facing contact for assigned Atlassian services engagements and will have the following core responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret Fed/IC/DoD business requirements, integrations, and system architecture to provide strategic recommendations to the client
Manage the complete lifecycle of engagements, ensuring alignment with the client’s organizational goals and compliance with federal standards
Develop and manage authorization packages by leveraging a deep understanding of the DoD CATO/ATO CTF processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant constraints and guidelines
Ensure the proper handling, protection, and management of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and higher classification levels in compliance with FED/IC/DoD regulations, maintaining the integrity and security of sensitive data for federal clients
Oversee engagement scope within budget and resource constraints, proactively identifying and managing risks, escalating blocking issues, and securing sign-off on change orders as needed to ensure successful project delivery
Apply Isos best practices, guidelines, and recommendations to Atlassian product migrations, client-specific implementations, and the efficient operation and maintenance of Atlassian products deployed on Fed/IC/DoD networks, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering engagements with a deep understanding of Fed/IC/DoD IT networks and cybersecurity considerations, architecting tailored solutions using Atlassian products to address complex Agile and workflow challenges
Manage federal client engagement as the primary point of contact, overseeing all aspects of service delivery including client retention, growth, and project profitability
Manage daily support requests, incident response, and strategic long-term planning for assigned clients
Coordinate and respond to federal client requests and other communications to meet contracted SLAs
Plan and schedule personnel resources on a weekly basis to deliver on requests and objectives for client assignments
Collaborate with technical consultants and client resources to maintain and ensure the reliability of application instances
Administer Atlassian products and assist clients with implementation to support their business processes
Provide scheduled on-call support during off-hours and respond to service outage incidents to meet contracted SLAs
Participate in process improvement efforts across the team and organization to identify, develop, and deliver services and solutions leading to improved client satisfaction
Acquire and maintain Atlassian credentials consistent with Isos Federal requirements for the role.
Support the Sales team in proposals, renewals, and quarterly client business reviews
Contribute informative and engaging original marketing content related to the Atlassian ecosystem in the form of quarterly blog posts, white papers, and other materials as requested
Job requirements
Desired Skills and Experience:
To function in the role of Cleared Atlassian Consultant, Isos requires that you already have the following demonstrable and verifiable skills:
Clearance Required: Minimum of an Active Secret clearance
3+ years experience and/or expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira Software and Confluence
- 3+ years experience managing software tool implementations over a complex lifecycle, especially including:
Discovering and documenting requirements
Complex analysis with a special focus on process discovery
Creative problem-solving
Written, face to face, and group presentation-based communication to varying audiences
2+ years experience in a consulting or customer service role
1+ years experience as a Jira administrator
Effective management of time and expectations with internal resources and clients
Manage multiple clients and issues simultaneously
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, for technical and business operations audiences
Analyze and interpret complex problems to deliver complete solutions
Demonstrate the ability to administer Atlassian products and provide strategic guidance on long-term use
Advise clients on best practices, guidelines, and recommendations.
Execute essential functions to meet or exceed individual success metrics
Demonstrates an approach to their work that is consistent with our core company values
Occasional weekend work and travel may be required for this position
This position is primarily a work from home position and we consider applicants throughout the United States. In support of pay transparency, the compensation range for this position is between $135,000-$160,000 and this position is eligible for the employee bonus program, a comprehensive employee benefit plan, and a 401(k) plan. Actual compensation can vary based on geographic pay differentials as well as individual qualifications and experience. A successful comprehensive background and clearance check is required post offer.
